2012 Summer Shoe Trends
Finding your perfect summer shoe this season is especially difficult. Why? There are so many to choose from! This year has been all about the shoe and the designs are more elaborate than ever. Here are some of our favorite shoe trends for this summer.
The gladiator sandal comes is back again this summer so if you splurged on a pair last year you are in luck. These great sandals come in many different styles and colors, and can be found to fit any occasion. This year the gladiator sandal comes in a variety of colors whereas previous seasons have seen it only in neutrals.
Khussa shoes are another popular fashion right now. These traditional shoes from Pakistan that were worn by royals are making waves again today. They are great because they are simple yet elegant, comfortable, and come in any color you could want with lots of different type of bead work and other embellishments.
Wedges also back this season. These are super cute and great for women looking for a casual alternative to uncomfortable pumps. Wedges with wooden or printed soles or espadrilles are new this summer. Mix and match soles with bright buckles and straps for the hottest look this season.
Some of the colors that are popular this summer are neons, particularly orange and mint green. Look for floral or tribal patterns. All of these choices make it easy to find the perfect shoe to best compliment your wardrobe.
