Last night was the invite-only media and industry reception, hosted by Fashion Television’s Glen Baxter. In attendance, top model Coco Rocha, sporting an outfit designed by Greta Constantine. Greta Constantine’s designers,  Kirk Pickersgill and Stephen Wong,  decided to forgo to the tents at LG Fashion Week this year and hold their show last Friday at The Courthouse.

The exhibit holds a special importance because it is hoping to promote female photographers in a male-dominated industry.

Angela Young, Co-Founder and President of the project says, “Fashion photography is a field that has traditionally and continuously been heavily dominated by men. By showcasing the works of female photographers, we hope to inspire the world with a refreshing take on fashion editorials.”

If you are in the Toronto area and would like to check out the exhibit for yourself there is a public exhibition being held on Friday, March 20, 2009 (from noon-6:00PM) and Saturday, March 21, 2009 (from noon-5:00PM).
