Airs: Sunday, June 14th @ 9PM ET/PT (HBO)

If you’re a true fan of the Twilight Saga, then you’ll surely fall in love with this show. It is somewhat of the same plot line. Sookie Stackhouse, a local waitress, truly understands what it’s like to be an outsider. I guess you can say she was cursed with the ability to listen to people’s thoughts and is very open-minded about the integration of vampires in her small town. She becomes intrigued with a gorgeous 173 year-old named Bill, who lives up the road from her. Throughout the first season Sookie is drawn into a series of mysteries surrounding Bill’s arrival in her town Bon Temps. Now Sookie’s “open-mindedness” towards vampires will be put to the test in season two of the series.

Airs: Monday, May 18th @ 8PM ET/PT (ABC)

Jillian Harris, a proud Canadian girl, fell short of her goal last season when she was sent packing on The Bachelor because Jason Mesnick failed to understand Jillian’s “best friend” theory. This season Jillian has her own opportunity to find true love. The premiere began with 25 eligible men arriving from all over the country to try and win Jillian’s heart, including an Olympic cyclist, a break dance instructor, a pizza entrepreneur and a wine maker. Each is more handsome than the next with some truly outstanding personalities.

NYC Prep

Airs: Tuesday, June 23rd @ 9PM ET/PT (BRAVO)

Can you imagine if our favourite bad boys and girls of Gossip Girl were real? Well, there’s no need to imagine anymore. Bravo has a created a reality show that follows the lives of six individuals in Manhattan’s elite Upper East Side. NYC Prep is the reality series version of Gossip Girl, and like the series, it involves exclusive midnight parties, shopping sprees and gaudy relationships. Already, the blogosphere had been abuzz with anticipation for NYC Prep. Critics said they’d be careful in writing about the show’s characters, however, as they are presumably real people, not like the fictional Blair, Chuck, Nate, Serena, Dan, and Jenny.

Desperate Housewives

Desperate Housewives
takes a darkly comedic look at suburbia, where the secret lives of these six housewives aren’t always what they seem. The series began with Mary Alice Young (Brenda Strong) leaving her perfect house, in the loveliest of suburbs and ending it all. Now she takes us into the lives of her family, friends and neighbors. Her circle of girlfriends on Wisteria Lane includes Susan Mayer (Teri Hatcher), who has finally married the love of her life but is now faced with the challenges of a blended family; Lynette Scavo (Felicity Huffman), who struggles with work, health and family issues; Bree Van De Kamp (Marcia Cross) — Martha Stewart on steroids — who tries to keep her image of perfection even as everything crumbles around her; and Gabrielle Solis (Eva Longoria), the newly married ex-model who seems to have everything she has ever wanted – a rich, powerful husband, a big house — everything that is, but a husband she truly loves.
